About Teeth Whitening

Teeth Whitening has enjoyed a tremendous increase in popularity over recent years, and it is the most common procedure in cosmetic dentistry according to a 2015 Survey by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Brighter, Whiter Smile after just 60 minutes in the dental chair? Yes, please!

Spa Dent Teeth Whitening

Spa Dent is a global leader in the LED Light-Activated Dental products marketplace. They’ve pioneered the introduction of Blue and Red LED light technology for in-office teeth whitening and introduced the first pre-filled in-office dual-arch whitening tray. Spa Dent was also the first in-office whitening product to incorporate Hydrogen Peroxide, Carbamide Peroxide, and Xylitol in a teeth-whitening gel.

How it works:

    1. We have to isolate the teeth that are undergoing whitening with essential protection called “the Opal Dam”. This is an easy-flowing barrier that protects the gums and the sensitive areas around the gum line.
    2. The Peroxide gel will be applied to the teeth for 15–20 minutes and then suctioned away.
    3. This process will be repeated 2–3 times, depending on the desired result.
    4. Touch-up take-home trays are also available.

You will leave the office with a brighter, fresher smile!

Pricing Plan:

Tooth whitening usually is not a benefit that is paid for by insurance coverage. We choose to charge: $200.00

Treatment is based on individual needs. We value each patient’s individual situation and will suggest the most appropriate treatment plan.

At Westshore, all insurance claims are submitted for your convenience. We will help you to get information about your coverage. We also follow the suggested fee guides that have been set by the Ontario Dental Hygienist Association.
